Synonym:
Lithology and Thickness
Brown to black weathering, white to buff, massive, commonly cross-bedded, medium to coarse-grained sandstone, locally considerable red color is present. A few thin red silty members occur locally. It is further divided into Sajir Member (Fine-grained sandstone in Upper Saq Sandstone Fm), and Risha Member (Coarse-grained sandstone in Lower Saq Sandstone Fm).
